BCMG has launched South East Asia’s first insured Bitcoin fund, BCMG Genesis Fund-I (BGBF), to cater to the increasing demand for institutional crypto products in the region. BGBF announced the Bitcoin Fund-I in a on the 8th of March. Stating that the fund is regulated in Labuan, Malaysia, the press release said the fund offers insurance coverage and underwriting for Public Offering Security Insurance (POSI) which provides extra security to clients’ investments.
